The Petzl headlamps have been added to the storefront at www.keenbeam.com. We are gearing up for 2011 and looking forward to the programmable battery packs that are headed our way from Petzl. The new systems will allow you to pre-program your battery to better suit your performance needs. If you need high bursts of light for short intervals you can add that as a setting or if you need really low light for prolonged periods of time add that as a setting. This will be a great feature for the users out there that want a customized experience and who are really looking to squeeze out the most from their headlamps.

EagleTac M3C4's are in Stock!

Keenbeam has just received the new M3C4 flashlights. These are upgraded from the already excellent M2 line of EagleTac flashlights. The lights are available in six different emitter options to suit everyones needs; Luminus SST-50 W65S WJ LED (maximum output, single LED), Triple CREE XP-G Cool White R5 LED (maximum output, three individual LEDs), Triple CREE XR-E Cool White R2 LED (maximum far projecting performance),CREE MC-E M LED (high output and smooth beam. No dark center hole is detected under the new ET55 reflector),CREE XR-E Q4 NW LED (output is 10%-12% less than XR-E R2 cool white LED, but runtime is about the same), CREE MC-E K NW LED (output is 10%-13% less than MC-E M cool white LED, but runtime is about the same)

More T20C2's en route!

The T20C2's have been on a good run lately. I have been having a hard time keeping on the shelves! I am expecting more fresh from the factory by next week. If you want one you could either pre-order it now and I will ear mark it for you or you can keep your eye on this blog or on the store for availability.

The M2 line of lights should be available by mid August, that is when the next run is scheduled to be completed at the factory.

AAA battery powered lights now in Stock!

Keenbeam.com now has the PN20a and the PN20a2 in stock! These are two great little lights that run off of AAA batteries. The PN20a is a keychainlight that takes one battery while the PN20a2 is a pen-sized light that takes two AAA batteries.

Product Profile: EagleTac M2XC4

The M2XC4 runs on 4 CR123A batteries or two EagleTac 18650 batteries. It has a Maximum Output of 800 lumen on Turbo. There are three other brightness settings; 360, 150, and 40 lumen. Runtimes for the four levels are 1.2, 3.5, 9.5 and 45 hours respectively. Using EagleTac 18650 batteries the run time increases to 1.5, 4.5, 12.5 and 55 hours respectively. Currently in stock at www.keenbeam.com we have the M2XC4 with a Neutral White emitter. The NW emitter provides for more accurate colour rendering which is ideal for when nature watching and performing field identification. Lumen output is slighly lower in the Neutral White LED's but worth it when colour rendering is important to your tasks at hand. The output in NW is 33 / 125 / 300 / 665 Lumen.

Product Profile: EagleTac T100C2

The T100C2 operates on two CR123A batteries or one 18650 battery. It outputs 220 lumen for two hours on High or 55 lumen for 14 hours. The T100C2 has a polycarbonate ring to ensure a strong cigar grip when you are using this light. This light is also compatible with the Weapon Mount Kit

Product Profile: EagleTac T20C2 MKII

The T20C2 runs on two lithium CR123A batteries or one 18650 battery. Hi beam is 300 lumen, General setting provides 60 lumen and the Lo setting outputs 5 lumen. Respective run times are 1.5 hrs, 13 hrs and over 180 hours. Access the Hi beam by tightening the head, General mode by loosening the head and the hidden modes by quickly tightening and loosening the head. You can then click through the modes Lo, SOS, Beacon, and Strobe. The optimum performance is achieved using EagleTac 18650 lithium batteries. Product Profile: EagleTac P100A2

The P100A2 is another flashlight that runs on two AA batteries. It has a straight forward user interface with two modes. Hi mode is activated when the light is on and the head is tightened giving 195 lumen of output for 1.8 hours. Loosen the head to reach the Lo mode which will output 55 lumen for 8 hours.

Like its AA counterpart the EagleTac P20C2 takes two batteries. The CR123A powered light outputs 300, 60, and 5 lumen for 1.7, 13, and 100+ hours respectively. There are also three hidden modes available for when you need them. (Strobe/Beacon/SOS)

Product Profile: EaglteTac P20A2

The EagleTac P20A2 MK II flashlight runs off of two AA batteries to provide a maximum of 230 out-the-front lumens. General mode puts out 60 lumen and the low mode outputs 15 lumen. The P20A2 has three hidden blinking modes: S.O.S, Beacon and Strobe.

After several months of development www.keenbeam.com is up for the first time! I would like to thank Evan and Jeff at BlueNorthStudios for putting this together. The long wait for the new Content Manager System they designed seems to have been worthwhile and I know they are still there anytime I need their help.

EagleTac Flashlight Lineup

Good Evening Folks,

Let me introduce you to the EagleTac Flashlights.

First off EagleTac has three product groups. They are the Personal, Tactical and Military Line of flashlights. The groupings have more to do with battery types than what the end user will be using them for. The three battery types are AA, CR123A and 18650.

Below I have scanned in the Comparison Table from a brochure I was sent. Please ignore the crease down the middle, I have been carrying this around with me everywhere lately.
